Hawaii's Grand Wailea Invites Oenophiles To A New Dinner Series
The resort’s first wine-focused charity dinner kicks off March 29.
Hawaii's iconic Grand Wailea resort is launching a series of Wine and Dine events, partnering with famous winemakers and vineyards to host elegant food and wine pairing dinners. Throughout the year, these exclusive culinary events will invite guests to learn about different aspects of the wine industry including organic wines, product innovation, sustainability, and more, all while enjoying a fabulous meal.
In honor of International Women's Day, the resort will host its first event celebrating Women in Wine, hosted by and honoring Cakebread Cellars' Winemaker Stephanie Jacobs. Stephanie was appointed winemaker of this popular Napa Valley winery in 2017, becoming only the fourth winemaker in Cakebread Cellar's 40+ year history.
A portion of the event's proceeds will be donated to a local Maui charity, Women Helping Women in concert with International Women's Day.
The Deal: Grand Wailea's award-winning restaurant, Humuhumunukunukuapua'a, will host this first signature dining event, priced at $225 per person. Head Chef Ryan Fox will feature a curated food and wine pairing menu that features king crab, seared tuna, ribeye and other local delicacies.
The Dates: The first Wine and Dine event will be held on Tuesday, March 29.
