Catalina Island Makes For A Perfect Mid-Week Escape

The Catalina Express offers up to 30 daily water shuttle departures from three Southern California ports. Guests can relax in airline-style seating for the one-hour journey to Catalina Island, while enjoying some beautiful scenery.
Catalina Express has partnered with 10 hotels in Avalon to offer winter-weary travelers discounted mid-week rates with a Best of Winter package.
The Deal: Travelers can choose accommodations ranging from budget to luxury, and newly renovated to historic. Each package includes one- or two-night stays and round-trip boat transportation on Catalina Express. Many hotels are also offering discounts on activities and tours along with complimentary breakfast and/or happy hour.
The Dates: The Best of Winter Package is available through March 25, 2022.
