When picking a line at the airport, you might instinctively go for the shortest line, but shorter doesn't always mean faster. Sometimes it means nothing at all.
According to travelers on Reddit, the real trick is scoping out who's in line. Lines filled with kids often drag on, while those packed with business travelers move much faster.
Don’t pick the shortest line if it’s full of kids, as they often slow things down. As a Reddit user said, "In airports, they have to deal with bags, tablets, toys, strollers, etc."
Instead, get in a line with mostly business travelers, who probably fly frequently and have likely mastered the TSA security process down to a science.
