Why Greece's Voutoumi Beach Is One Of Europe's Best

VACATIONS
Hidden away from the crowds of tourists, Voutoumi Beach — found on the Greek island of Antipaxos — offers a secluded Mediterranean paradise with sparkling water and white sand.
The picturesque landscape of Voutoumi Beach helped it take fifth in the World's 50 Best Beaches list for 2024 and second in Europe behind only Cala Mariolu in Italy.
Contributing to Voutoumi's seclusion is the fact that the beach can only be reached by boat. The Port of Giaos on Paxos offers water taxis that take visitors to the remote beach.
Round-trip tickets cost €25 and can be purchased on-site. The first water taxis depart at 10:00 a.m., and boats return to Giaos between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
While the beach is isolated, it does offer some modern amenities, such as the two taverns — Bella Vista Bar Restaurant and the Beach Bar and Restaurant Voutoumi.
