VACATIONS

Acadia National Park in Maine is a fantastic destination for beginner hikers, offering trails like the Jordan Pond Path, which is particularly suitable for those new to hiking.
This trail is generally considered easy and takes about one to two hours for most people to complete, though hikers may choose to take a break and savor the stunning scenery.
The path meanders around the pristine Jordan Pond, a lake formed by ancient glaciers, providing picturesque views of rolling mountains and the twin peaks known as the Bubbles.
The trail is family-friendly, and hikers can even bring their leashed dogs. However, it does have some narrow, unpaved, and uneven sections, making it inaccessible
for wheelchairs.
The popularity of the Jordan Pond Path means it can get crowded, particularly during the summer weekends. Thus, visitors are advised to arrive early or opt for an evening hike.
