Visit America's Little Sweden For A Taste Of Europe

VACATIONS
The colorful town of Lindsborg is right in the middle of Kansas and is deeply rooted in its Swedish Heritage. This Little Sweden was founded in 1869 by Swedish immigrants.
The town has events like Svensk Hyllningsfest and Våffeldagen (International Waffle Day). There are also eight Swedish eateries to try, six of them being on Main Street.
You can learn about the city's Swedish culture and history at Lindsborg Old Mill and Swedish Heritage Museum, the Red Barn Studio Museum, and the Clara Hatton Center.
Around the city, you can find 31 wooden Dala horses, which are considered good luck. Outside of Lindsborg's Swedish aesthetics is a Medieval Spanish-style castle.
