Travelers Reveal Rhode Island's 5 Best Beaches

Mansion Beach is part of the larger Crescent Beach on Block Island and is named after the mansion that once resided there. It is relaxing and rarely crowded.
Several Yelpers raved about the ample space, soft sand, and surf availability. However, note that it is truly just a beach — there are no concession stands, bathrooms, or showers.
Misquamicut
This popular Rhode Island beach has half a mile of oceanfront and plenty of amenities such as concessions, bathrooms, a playground, fishing, and heated indoor showers.
Misquamicut is frequently crowded, but folks seem to love it. A Yelper said that this was the cleanest beach they'd seen, also praising the tasty food and easy access to shopping.
Narragansett
Narragansett Beach has deep roots in early American history. Today, it boasts plenty of parking, along with concessions, bathrooms, and even a first-aid office.
Visitors were impressed by the area's cleanliness. A Tripadvisor reviewer called it a beautiful spot with good waves, and a Yelper said it has the best surfing in Rhode Island.
