A walkable city can feature ample sidewalks, nice things to look at, and cool attractions. As voted by USA Today, Philadelphia is the most walkable city in the U.S.
Philly has some of the worst-rated traffic in the country, so perhaps locals are being encouraged to walk. New York City, which has the most sidewalks in the U.S., came in eighth.
The results were decided by travel experts and readers. It took into account attractions, restaurants, and hotels, and how easy it was for people to get to and from those places.
