VACATIONS
Bays often contain some of the loveliest water you'll ever swim in, and Les Saintes Bay on the northern coast of Terre-de-Haut island in the French Caribbean is no exception.
One of the best lookout spots on the island is at the site of Fort Napoleon, a museum dedicated to the Les Saintes Battle of 1782 that overlooks the island's stunning vistas.
Les Saintes Bay offers a unique cultural experience. Visitors can try French Caribbean cuisine like the Tourment d'Amour, a tart made with banana, coconut, or guava filling.
Les Saintes Bay is a stone's throw from the cafes and restaurants that line the shore, so it's easy to hop in the water and play. There are other great beaches to discover as well.
