VACATIONS
Travel expert Rick Steves has a lot of tips for experiencing London. The English capital has many museums, but Steves' favorite is The British Museum, which happens to be free.
When the British Empire ruled, some of the world's greatest historical artifacts and works of art were taken to England. Many of those priceless objects remain on display.
It has around 80,000 artifacts on display from its collection of more than 8 million. You have to pay for special exhibits or tours, but there is plenty to see without them.
Steves recommends doing research before visiting to understand what you're going to see. You can see the Rosetta Stone or multiple Ancient Greek, Assyrian, and Egyptian artifacts.
