Rick Steves Always Rents A Car To Travel Through This Italian Region

Travel guru Rick Steves suggests on his website that the best way to explore Tuscany is by car. Trains are usually great to travel, but there’s something about the region’s roads.
Steves says Tuscany’s roads are “the best way to lace together the views, villages, and vineyards.” However, you do need to study the roads before taking them on.
When you have your rental car, Steves suggests visiting some Tuscan hill towns. Parking might be an issue, so consider what kind of car you get beforehand.
Having a car in Tuscany gives you so much freedom and the scenery is beyond beautiful. It provides the opportunity to let yourself imagine what it would be like to live there.
