VACATIONS
If you want to visit the world's top-rated beach, you will have to fly to Europe. Based on user reviews and ratings, Portugal's Praia da Falésia is the best beach in the world.
Praia da Falésia is almost 4 miles long, stretching from Vilamoura to Olhos de Água. The name means "beach of cliffs" in Portuguese because red and orange cliffs tower above it.
The beach has a Blue Flag award for cleanliness and you can swim and surf in the water. Along the shore, there are restrooms, restaurants, and cafes to enjoy.
Praia da Falésia has three parts: Olhos de Água, Açoteias, and Vilamoura. The beach at Olhos de Água can get crowded, but it has stunning views from the highest part of the cliffs.
Açoteias is in the center, so you'll have to walk down staircases to get there. The Vilamoura section is the lowest part of the cliffs and is the quietest spot on this beach.
