VACATIONS

Lake Michigan is home to one of America's best beaches, Grand Haven State Park. It is renowned for its stunning sunsets, mesmerizing views, and a plethora of beach activities.
This destination features a
half-mile of white sand, an iconic pier, and colorful lighthouses,
making it a popular spot for photographers, nature lovers,
and families with kids.
The park also offers a wide range of amenities, including picnic areas with grills, restrooms, food trucks, onsite parking, waste stations, vending machines, and a playground.
Visitors can enjoy activities like volleyball, soccer, sunbathing, swimming, and fat-tire biking or take a stroll or fish on the 1.5-mile boardwalk along the Grand River.
For those looking to stay overnight, the campground provides front-row beach camping. The park is accessible to the mobility challenged, with three free track chairs available.
In the summer, the nearby Musical Fountain offers nightly water show performances. However, the park requires a Recreation Passport for parking and accessing its many amenities.
