Florida has plenty of beaches, and if you're visiting the Panhandle, check out Perdido Key. It has white sand beaches, a State Park, birding, hiking, and fishing.
It has two miles of white sand beaches along the Gulf of Mexico that are part of Perdido Key State Park. The water is calm and great for kids, but pay attention to any flags.
Perdido Key's beaches have lots of amenities, including ones that are accessible to those with limited mobility. There is even a spot for drinks, food, and nightlife.
