Avoid Booking A Bahamas Vacation At This Time Of Year

Hurricane season in the Bahamas lasts from the beginning of June until the end of November, but September is the peak of hurricane activity, making it the worst time to visit.
September is a bad month to be in a potential hurricane path. You’re better off visiting between mid-April and July, when there’s warm weather but not hurricanes.
You can still plan a trip to the Bahamas in September, but you should get travel insurance, be ready to get out in a hurry, and pack your raincoat.
If you want the best chance of good weather, take your trip in May. May is mango season, a great time to be in the Caribbean, and hurricanes won't be on the radar until June.
