Airport Amenities Rick Steves Warns Travelers Not To Skip

There are a whole lot of services at major airports that can help you out on your trip. Travel pro Rick Steves says you’re missing out on a lot by not taking advantage of them.
Before starting your adventure, Steves says to check out the airport’s tourist information center to talk to the experts, find helpful maps, or buy museum tickets and SIM cards.
European airports are not short on amenities, and many have ATMs, showers, charging stations, post offices, lounges, tourist information centers, and more.
Some airports go above and beyond with unique features. For example, the Istanbul Airport has sleeping pods you can rent for $11-$17 an hour, and you can even rent extra blankets.
