It's A Brand New Day At The Sheraton Maui Resort And Spa On Ka'anapali Beach
Hula lessons, lei making, beachside s’mores, and myriad new activities await families.
There's never been a better time to book an escape to Hawaii than right now. And the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa on Ka'anapali Beach makes choosing Maui with your family a no-brainer, with some exciting updates onsite around the property.
The resort that sprawls across 23 oceanfront acres at Pu'u Keka'a (Black Rock) on Ka'anapali Beach recently updated its family-style Ohana Suite accommodations with 665-sq. ft. of space to spread out in and a deluxe pull-down bed in addition to two double beds. New resort public spaces also include the ohana (family) game room where guests can gather for foosball, a movie, and other activities with the whole gang.
The new Sand Bar in the resort lobby has a wraparound lanai with ocean views and a serious spread of pupus (make a dinner out of appetizers!) like ahi poke, ceviche, and great cocktails on the menu.
Maui Ocean Center opened its first offsite location at the property—the Hawaiian Marine Life Hale—where marine naturalists share tips for reef etiquette, helping kids identify Hawaii's seashells and guiding them to create ocean-inspired crafts. And in the evenings, how about enjoying Hawaiian-style s'mores by the beach, with local ingredients like Maui cookies, macadamia nuts, and coconut flakes?
Other quintessentially Hawaiian activities on offer at the property include lessons where you can learn hula, strum the ukulele and string the perfect flower lei.
