Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay's Extended Summer Season Is Off And Running

There’s no better base in Spain’s Balearic Islands than this five-star gastronomic haven.

The famed Japanese chef who goes by a single name might have made his original fortune in artistically rendering raw fish. But today, the Nobu moniker is making waves in hotel hospitality, too, in places like Los Cabos, Las Vegas, and beyond.

If you're itching to get back to Europe this summer (seriously, who isn't?), Nobu's flagship European hotel on the Spanish island of Ibiza—the five-star Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay—beckons.

While other spots in Europe are still warming up for summer, the fun here is already underway. The hotel threw open its doors for the season on April 8 with a slew of new locally inspired experiences—all with the aim of getting guests closer to knowing the real Ibiza.

You can get off the beaten path onto some of the island's best hiking trails with Ibiza Hike Station, a local company the hotel has teamed up with for three-day retreats during the cooler months of September and October. Included in these adventures are health-focused activities like sound healing, rooftop wellness sessions, spa treatments, meditation, and more.

And if you're headed to Ibiza to party (after all, the island is legendary for it), the hotel has you covered with DJs and creative cocktails at the new Nobu Lounge, the perfect locale for warming up in style before another a big night out. You could also just slide over to Nobu Restaurant, too, after cocktails for the full Nobu-in-Ibiza experience.
