The Maldives Resort That Wants Guests To Feel Like The G.O.A.T.

With the demand for epic vacations on the rise, Coco Bodu Hithi now offers the ‘Greatest of All Trips.’

When you think of "The G.O.A.T.," Tom Brady or Serena Williams may come to mind. But in this case, we're not talking about athletes—we're talking about one helluva vacation.

For $1,202 per night, couples will fly around the world and experience the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Trips) at the Maldives' Coco Bodu Hithi. The boutique island resort created this package for the many travelers looking to take one incredible vacation after being pent up at home for so long—and there are a lot of them. According to Expedia's 2022 Travel Trends Report, 68 percent of Americans planned on going BIG this year when it comes to international travel. (If you haven't already noticed by your Instagram feed.)

As part of the G.O.A.T. package, guests will stay seven nights in a Coco Residences suite, two spa treatments, one private sandbar lunch, a sunset cruise, private snorkel tour with a marine biologist, and a speedboat transfer to and from the island. The package must be booked by September 30 and is available for stays through December 23, 2022.

And let's talk about that spa. As if being located above the tranquil turquoise waters of the Male Atoll wasn't magnificent enough, the spa offers guests luxurious treatments originating from locales around the world, along with some you'd expect would come exclusively from the Maldives. For example, the Island Seashell Massage literally uses seashells drizzled with coconut oil to relieve muscle tension.

That massage might inspire you to find out what else is underwater in this part of the world. Whether you're a beginner, or advanced diver, the waters of the Indian Ocean offer a plethora of marine life to discover. From green turtles to grey reef sharks—even shipwrecks—there is so much to see under the sea. And with the G.O.A.T. package, you can try something more low-key like snorkeling, while gaining an abundance of knowledge about the local ecosystem with an exclusive tour given by a marine biologist.

And if the G.O.A.T. package isn't enough, extend the stay and take a seaplane to Coco Bodu Hithi's sister resort, Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu. The resort group was founded by four Maldivian brothers who wanted to keep environmental sustainability and social responsibility at its core, while also preserving local traditions unique to the islands.
