Princess Cruise Pays Homage To 'The Love Boat' With 'Isaac' Cocktail

Quick! Name the head bartender on the Pacific Princess in the TV series The Love Boat. (If you yelled out Gopher, you need some TV binging time on the couch.) The correct answer, as we know from our homework, is Isaac Washington, played by actor Ted Lange. And Princess Cruises has decided to honor the TV show and Lange by creating a new cocktail fittingly called the Isaac.

The new drink, concocted by Lange himself, debuted on all Princess ships for Valentine's Day.

"Most people don't know that while I was serving up drinks on The Love Boat, I also became a licensed bartender in real life," says Lange, in a Princess media announcement. "If a bartender recognizes me, he or she always wants me to try their special drink. Now, I'm excited for everyone to try my special drink. I know they are going to love it." (Watch a video of Lange making the Isaac.)
