He's been with Static Media since 2022, writing for Tasting Table, The Daily Meal, and Outdoor Guide. Apart from his professional writing, Ryan is an award-winning playwright, essayist, and aspiring novelist. He lives in the foothills of southwestern New Hampshire with his wife and four children.

Ryan holds a bachelor's degree in communication with a concentration in journalism from Westfield State University.
