Mira has been a professional travel writer for over 25 years, weaving her keen observations and eye for detail into engaging stories. She understands the unique opportunities that leisure travelers seek and writes about those off-the-beaten-path experiences. Her travels have taken her across the globe to Churchill, Manitoba, where she watched polar bears frolic in their natural environment in Canada; to Mount Nebo in Jordan, where she overlooked the Promised Land; and to Paris, where she climbed down the Eiffel Tower. Mira is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW), the prestigious international association for travel professionals. She is currently a freelance writer for Static Media's Islands and has also written for Explore.

Mira earned her B.A. in advertising from Michigan State University, in East Lansing, Michigan.
