Michelle has been a freelance journalist for 15+ years. Her work has been featured in publications such as Travel + Leisure, Vogue, Forbes, Business Insider, Newsweek, Global Traveler and more. Simultaneously, she also juggled corporate jobs in television and tech, where she traveled to countries such as Colombia, Senegal, Malaysia, India, Myanmar, China, Morocco and the Philippines.

Michelle has a Master's degree in Leadership and Management, a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Global Studies, and a Certificate in Sustainable Tourism.
