Mary is a bestselling author and lifelong journalist and has edited several regional magazines in her regional area of Maryland's Eastern Shore. An award-winning writer and editor who has taught writing at several universities, Mary is a beachcombing educator, avid miniaturist, and mother of four.
Education
Mary graduated from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) with a degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. She was editor of both her college and high school newspapers.
