Experience
Jamie has worked as a professional travel writer since 2015, cutting her teeth as an editor at SmarterTravel.com, a former subsidiary of TripAdvisor. During this time she honed her skills as a master traveler while covering hiking in Japan, cruising in Antarctica, and other adventures. In 2019, she took the freelance leap and began to travel as a digital nomad, living abroad while working remotely in Spain, Mexico, Portugal, Italy, and Brazil. In 2022, she broke into the world of guidebooks, covering Spain and Barcelona.

Jamie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Emerson College in Writing, Literature, and Publishing.
