  • Danielle loves "slow travel" and seeks to immerse herself in the culture of every country that she visits, hoping to get a taste of life as a local.
  • Once, on a week-long group trip to Mexico, she decided to ditch her return flight and spend nine months scuba diving, wandering, and working on different beaches across the continent.
  • Danielle is a big-time fangirl of Anthony Bourdain and believes there is no better way to get to know a city than eating your way through it.

Experience

Danielle has wanted to become a published writer since the age of 8 and has been lucky enough to have spent the last 12 years living that childhood dream. She has worn many hats over the last decade, including working as an editorial writer, a content writer, a copywriter, and a creative director for publications and brands such as ELLE, Town & Country, Harper's Bazaar, NYFW, Spotted Places, Smashbox Studios, and more. Danielle got her first taste of life abroad when she lived in Prague as a TEFL instructor back in 2010 and has been hooked ever since. When traveling, she loves getting into the underbelly of a city, seeking out off-the-beaten-path arts venues, events, and restaurants. When she's not getting lost in foreign locales, Danielle loves to play tourist in her hometown, Los Angeles. She counts beach bumming and exploring historical haunts as two of her favorite activities.

Education

Danielle received her B.A. in European history from California State University, Long Beach.
