- Christine once traveled to Mexico to explore and write about the Condesa neighborhood in Ciudad de México (Mexico City). While in Mexico, she dined at Máximo Bistrot, one of Latin America's best restaurants, and interviewed Chef Eduardo García Guzman.
- She's an expert at packing. The strangest things she's ever put in her checked luggage on an international flight include a Hamilton Beach countertop oven and about 50 pounds of prescription cat food.
- Christine is an active member of several online expat groups, and she's a permanent resident of Costa Rica with plans to apply for citizenship soon.
Experience
Christine has been writing professionally for 10 years. In 2017, she was the associate editor of Points North Atlanta, where she developed content covering the areas of Atlanta's northside. In 2019, she sold all her stuff, moved to Costa Rica, and began freelancing. In 2020, Christine joined TheMilSource (TMS), a Hong Kong-based media company covering international headlines and human-interest stories, where she served as editor-in-chief. She loves to travel and visits the U.S. at least once a year.
Education
Christine has a bachelor's degree in English literature from Georgia State University, where she also studied film with a focus on theory.
