Experience
Chelsea is a seasoned journalist driven by a desire to understand the world and the people in it. She began her career as an editor and hotel reviewer at Jetsetter, a Tripadvisor company, before going freelance in 2017. Her travel writing has taken her far and wide — from Malawi to the Maldives — and fueled her passion for adventure, leading her to receive an RYA sailing license and PADI scuba certification. Her work has appeared in Travel + Leisure, AFAR, Architectural Digest, Fodor's, The Guardian, and more. Following the pandemic, she became a digital nomad and visited 15 countries throughout Latin America. Now, when she's not on the road, you can find her at home in her adopted city of Valencia.
Education
Chelsea has a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in Magazine Publishing, with a Certificate in Multicultural Studies.
