Experience

As an adult, she moved to Japan to become an English teacher, where she explored the neighborhoods of Tokyo between grammar lessons. Brie eventually pivoted to writing, contributing to Business Insider, Apartment Therapy, YourTango, and several other websites. She now serves as an editor at Islands.
Education
Brie received her B.A. from The Ohio State University, where she double-majored in sociology and sexuality studies.
