Atoosa is a travel and business writer who holds a special blend of corporate savvy with a love of adventure, storytelling, and cross-cultural discovery. She has written for publications including Global Travel Retail Magazine, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, PAX International Magazine, and Matador Network, as well as her Substack, The Peripheral Passport. Through all of her travel experiences, she has developed firsthand understanding of cross-cultural business, local communities, and the importance of travel ecosystems. Most recently in 2025, she spent a sabbatical year supporting grassroots organizations in North Africa in tourism and education, where she officially launched her freelance writing career. All of her travels, research, and writing is driven by a lifelong passion for uncovering hidden gems and understanding the essence of every place she visits.

Atoosa holds a master's degree in business administration from Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in communications and public relations from Boston University.
