Amara is a writer and slow travel advocate who has roamed the Caribbean coast of Central America, travelled from coast to coast in Southern Mexico, and experienced an unthinkable amount of golden Lisbon sunsets. As a writer, she has interviewed, reviewed, and been invited to events, hotels, and restaurant openings around the world from London to Mexico City. Her favorite travel stories to share highlight locally-owned businesses, community stories, and initiatives that highlight the untold stories that make a country. Senegal and Ethiopia are two countries that sit high on her to-visit list.
