Experience
Alyssa started her career in newspapers and shifted toward freelance in 2020, where she expanded her career to include magazines and trade journals and gained more time to travel. When taking a break from editing, she is probably planning her next trip to combine climate journalism with adventure travel or working on her upcoming narrative nonfiction book.
Education
Alyssa received her bachelor's degree in journalism from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and recently graduated from the Columbia School of Journalism Master of Arts program.
