Alice Levitt is an award-winning restaurant critic and food and travel writer who's always in search of the next delicious discovery. She has written for some of her favorite publications, including Vox, Atlas Obscura, EatingWell, Simply Recipes, Allrecipes, Culture, and Business Insider. In her nearly two decades as a restaurant critic, she has worked for Seven Days newspaper and Houstonia magazine. She is currently based in Virginia, where she is a contributing food critic for Northern Virginia Magazine. Her laurels include an Association of Alternative Newsmedia (AAN) Award for Best Food Writing and two Daysies for Best Journalist.
Education
An autodidact, Alice learned her craft on the job at WWE Magazine, EatingWell and Seven Days.
